Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. While the rooms were clean and looked very nice, the noise from the room upstairs kept us up most of the night. The service was lacking as the staff seemed to be going through the motions and even knocked on our door 5 minutes before check-out. The location was convenient for our trip down highway 101, but there were some issues with noise and cleanliness. The dining experience was disappointing due to ants in the food, but the onsite staff were kind and attentive to our needs.
The hotel had lovely and clean rooms with a great view of 'the rock,' although a bit dark. It felt a bit isolated from the rest of the hotel. The service was a mixed bag, ranging from kind assistance for injuries to thin walls and rudeness. The location was perfect for walking to attractions, except for Morro rock, with a lovely breeze but on a busy road. The dining experience was minimal and subpar. The facilities were basic.
The hotel was surprisingly popular for a one night stay, with rooms larger than expected. While breakfast was a bit stingy with weak coffee and dry, fattening muffins, the great price made up for it. The location being within perfect walking distance to the shops and the beach was a big plus.
The hotel was wonderfully close to the beach and nearby restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff is very friendly. However, the dining experience was lacking variety in breakfast options. The pool area was well-kept and enjoyable. The price was reasonable, but there was an additional charge for Wi-Fi.
The hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were small but clean and somewhat updated, though I encountered an issue with a terrible smell and cleanliness. The service was friendly and accommodating, especially during check-in. The location was ideal for accessing the Embarcadero and downtown area, but other places in town might offer a better experience. The dining options were minimal and of poor quality. Overall, it was a decent stay with some areas needing improvement.
The inn by the bay is a comfortable and clean place located within walking distance of all points of interest in Morro Bay and close to many restaurants. The staff were kind and accommodating, especially when they gave me a ground floor room after I injured my knee. However, the dining experience was subpar, with minimal options and some issues with ants in the food.
